North Shore Mid-Century Modern Remodel & Addition:
Originally built in 1965, this classic split-level Mid-Century Modern home was in dire need of a substantial renovation. Keeping the classic lines of the home intact, we set out to restore the exterior to its former Mid-Century Modern glory with modern updates such as new oversized sliding glass doors and windows, new roofing, and new rainscreen siding. The interior is to undergo a substantial remodeling effort including reconfiguring the spaces to suit the needs of the client while maintaining the original spirit of the home. Modern materials and amenities will adorn the interior throughout elevating it to current times. A new 2-story west-wing addition will house the master en suite, home office, exercise room, and entertainment lounge for the existing inground pool. This new wing will frame the pool nicely thus creating a private courtyard space complete with an extended "green paved" pool deck extension with a modern fire-pit and ample space for outdoor entertaining and al fresco dining.
